Do Not Eat These 5 Things if You Have PCOS

2) Processed Foods

For this reason, they need to avoid processed foods that tend to have a higher Glycemic Index(GI) and offer very few beneficial nutrients such as biscuits, cakes, pastries, breakfast cereals, ready meals even carbohydrates as white potatoes, white bread, and white rice. These foods can lead to a spike in blood sugars.

3) Artificial sweeteners

Sucralose, saccharin, and aspartame provide zero calories but are deadly on the body. These sweeteners have been linked to a higher risk for stroke, dementia, and other cognitive issues. they have also be linked to leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancers.

4) Red Meat

Recently, Red meat has been declared as “probably carcinogenic to humans” and processed meats as “carcinogenic to humans” by The World Health Organization (WHO) International Agency for the Research on Cancer (IARC). Also, The consumption of red meat may increase the risk of diabetes, heart diseases, cancer, and others that may increase the risk of dying. If you must eat red meat, ensure it organic and grass-fed.

5) Dairy

Pasteurized Cow milk, particularly in reduced fat and skim forms is likely to contribute to meta-inflammation. consumption of dairy products may trigger acne outbreaks while affecting obesity and insulin resistance. The milk protein casein is the offending component and not lactose in milk.
