2) Garden Egg sauce and unripe plantain
Garden egg sauce is made from Garden egg, onions, pepper, and seasoning. it contains so much fiber to help digestion. It also helps in weight loss. The unripe plantain is great in lowering blood sugar, improving blood flow, improving bowel movement, and a lot more.
3) Smoothies
They are quick and easy to prepare breakfast. You can combine any fruit and veggies, it all depends on the taste you prefer and your creativity. Be sure to select more low-sugar fruits.

Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

- ½ cup coconut milk
- ¾ cup water
Method:
- Add all ingredients to the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!

4. Oatmeal
Ensure you are using the old-fashioned kind and not the instant. Add in your protein and healthy fats like nut butter or milk. It will be very filling.
5) Beans cake and pap
Bean cake is also known as Akara. It is usually accompanied by a semi-liquid made from corn paste, know as Pap. This is a good combination for breakfast in Nigeria. Akara provides proteins and is rich in soluble fiber known to lower cholesterol levels, thus excellent for weight loss. You may also add honey and milk to the Pap.
